The Loom Youth Prize · free public program
The free afternoon belongs to the next generation: The Loom Youth Prize exhibition hangs work by young Idaho artists beside the professional collection. Walk the galleries, meet the artists, try the AR layer on your own phone, then stay for the awards ceremony at 4:00 PM as the winners are announced with their work behind them. The ticketed gala follows: VIP entry 5:30 PM, doors 6:30 PM.
The Loom Youth Prize · rules & entryThe show happens twice at once. Models walk the physical runway; raise your phone and each look reveals its digital layer, animated graphics living on the garments themselves. The printed design is the tracking marker, so what you see in AR tonight is exactly what the merch unlocks at home.
A 3D gallery of the collections you can wander from your phone’s browser, at the event or from home, live for a full year after the night. QR placards around the venue drop you at the exact artwork you’re standing in front of.
The portal opens with the on-sale, a 2D gallery fallback covers older devices.
25+ Idaho artists put their first work on-chain during the event, a free, guided, 20-minute session with every fee covered. Education panels run alongside for everyone who wants to understand what “phygital” actually means under the hood.
