Press release

Art, fashion and a statewide youth prize share one night at Boise Centre

September 14, 2026 · Boise, Idaho

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Digital Loom opens November 14 with a free afternoon exhibition for Idaho artists ages 6 to 17 and a 275-guest evening runway where printed garments carry an augmented-reality layer on the phone already in a guest’s hand.

BOISE, Idaho, September 14, 2026. OpulX Media LLC today announced The Digital Loom, a one-night art, fashion and technology program at Boise Centre on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The day is built into two parts: a free public afternoon anchored by The Loom Youth Prize, open to every Idaho artist aged 6 to 17, and a ticketed evening capped at 275 guests.

The format is unusual for Idaho. First of its kind. Printed garments walk a physical runway, then reveal a second layer when a guest raises a phone. Works in the exhibition are registered as digital twins and remain on view in a browser-based gallery for twelve months. No app, headset or digital wallet is required.

“Boise already has a technology community, an arts community and a fashion community. They rarely stand in the same room,” said Mel Pint, founder of OpulenceX Inc. and OpulX Media, and producer of The Digital Loom. “This night puts them there: a runway where those worlds meet, and a free path for young artists across the Treasure Valley and the rest of Idaho, judged seriously and hung in a real exhibition. I am proudest of that combination.”

Afternoon: free, statewide, judged

From 2:00 p.m., Boise Centre’s Junior Ballroom opens to the public. About thirty shortlisted works by Idaho artists ages 6 to 17 hang beside the professional collection. Awards are presented on stage at 4:00 p.m.

The Loom Youth Prize is free to enter in any medium. Work is judged in three age brackets (6-9, 10-13, 14-17) by a museum curator, an educator and two exhibiting artists. Combined awards exceed $2,000 in cash and art supplies. The theme is “Two Worlds, One Thread.” Entries are open now and close October 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MT, at loom.opulx.io/contest.

Evening: runway, rooms, 275 guests

VIP admission ($200) begins at 5:30 p.m. with a private hour. Premium ($90) and General Admission ($45) doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program runs from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

The augmented-reality layer is designed by Ecuadorian artist Ramiro Albán, whose printed fashion has walked with Fashion Designers of Latin America during New York Fashion Week and headlined a presentation at Doha Design District. Large-format mixed-media works by Toronto artist Jeffro, cut from the accumulated marks on his studio drywall, anchor the physical exhibition. They are joined by Care, a multidisciplinary artist working across drawing, code, animation and photography; Adrian Corrales, from the Opulent Art Society; and Zachary of Mojica Art from the XRP Ledger community. Additional artists will be announced.

Guests move through four rooms, including the AR runway, a browser-based gallery and the Digital Twin Studio. Tickets and limited-edition merchandise are at loom.opulx.io. Sponsorships start at $1,000: loom.opulx.io/sponsors.

The Digital Loom is planned as an annual Boise edition, with a Honolulu program intended for 2027.
